About the authors: Gin Ryan was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, then a dying mill town that inspired escape. It has since been resurrected. She writes fiction and essays and is drawn to stories of complicated families, imperfect heroines, and loss. THE HEALER OF CORKY ROW is her debut novel. She has worked as a journalist and marketing professional and served with the Peace Corps in Thailand. She is happiest when she is on or near the water. Cape Cod is her happy place!

Larry Tye is a New York Times bestselling author whose most recent book – The Jazzmen
– How Duke Ellington, Satchmo Armstrong and Count Basie Transformed America – was
released in 2024 by HarperCollins. From 1986 to 2001, Tye was an award-winning reporter at The Boston Globe, where his
primary beat was medicine. He also served as the Globe’s environmental reporter, roving
national writer, investigative reporter, and sports writer. Before that, he was the
environmental reporter at The Courier-Journal in Louisville, and covered government
and business at The Anniston Star in Alabama. Tye is now writing, for HarperCollins, The Forger of Budapest: David Gur and Jewish
Resistance to the Holocaust.
