Learn about the Local River Herring In-Person
Join us to learn about the natural history of the River Herring that visit the Cape every year, and the volunteer counting program that helps inform the science behind their management with Luke Cadrin.
Luke Cadrin is the Field Operations Manager at Barnstable Clean Water Coalition. Luke Cadrin is a Cape Cod native who grew up watching the annual migration of the Herring, helping promote his appreciation of the natural world. This motivated him to earn his degree in Biology from Saint Michael’s College. He now works as the Field Operations Manager for Barnstable Clean Water Coalition, working towards protecting the Cape’s natural resources.
