Grief 101:Cultivating Grief Literacy on the Cape and the Islands

Grief 101:Cultivating Grief Literacy on the Cape and the Islands In-Person

Grief is a natural response to loss with powerful emotional and physical reactions.   Yet many bereaved people report feeling misunderstood and abandoned by their friends and communities due to a lack of education about the needs of the griever.

Grief 101:Cultivating Grief Literacy on the Cape and the Islands is a presentation offered by Sharing Kindness, Home | Sharing Kindness . This presentation covers “the basics” of grief: what it is, how it impacts our brains and bodies, and how we can support people in our lives who are going through it. This event is free and open to all.

Registration is not required, but we would appreciate it if you could sign up so we can provide adequate space for attendees.
