Denya LeVine is a fiddler, singer, ukulele player, and a percussion band and
dance leader. Dance Around The World is an event that includes dances and
movement from Western and Eastern Europe, So. America, North Africa, the
Middle East and more. You can expect exciting fiddling, humor, easy dances
and maybe some familiar songs! This is spirited, energetic, interactive fun
and will delight adults and children alike!

Denya has been performing on Cape Cod and in southeastern
Massachusetts for 40 years. With roots in classical, folk and Jewish music,
she fell in love with Irish music and culture in the 1970’s. She worked at The
Fillmore East [rock music theater] in New York City, and lived in Afghanistan,
India, Belgium, England and Ireland. All this activity added to her interest in
music from around the world. She makes her home in Wellfleet, on Cape
Cod. Her repertoire covers music from 15 countries and songs in 5
languages. She has 2 CDs: Shadow Of Rose, and Denya and the Cape Cod
Fem 14, from 2023, which includes 13 of her Cape Cod women musician
friends.
