Friends of Cotuit Library Speaker Series: Janet Milkman, Barnstable Land Trust In-Person

Join us for lunch and a conversation between Janet Milkman, Executive Director of Barnstable Land Trust and Jack Gardner, moderator and member of the Friends of the Cotuit Library. 

Registration is $15 for Friends of Cotuit Library members and $20 for non-members. Lunch and beverages are included in the price of admission. All ticket sales support the Cotuit Library's mission: The Cotuit Library Association's mission is to enhance village life by providing a place where community gathers and all individuals achieve personal growth.

About Janet: Janet Milkman is the Executive Director of Barnstable Land Trust, where she has led the organization over 8 years to protect key landscapes, built the Michael R. Kramer Center post and beam barn at Fuller Farm and strengthened BLT’s stewardship and programs capacity. Prior to BLT, Janet worked for and led non-profit organizations for 30 years, with a focus on community development, energy and environmental policy and practice. Her professional background includes advocating for statewide land use reform, including smart growth measures and community revitalization funding, supporting renewable energy and conservation through education, legislation, and advocacy. Her previous leadership roles include Executive Director of the Marion Institute and Executive Director of the Philadelphia-area Green Building Council.
