Come down to the Cahoon Museum for a Special Storytime!
Children will be entertained with colorful and silly stories about flowers, go on a scavenger hunt throughout the museum, and create a fun and floral craft!
We hope to see you there!
Cozy up at Cotuit Library! Each Tuesday at noon, we will gather with our knitting/crochet projects to choose a cozy mystery to read for the next few weeks. Other crafting and fiber arts are welcome! We always have plenty of comfy chairs to go around.

Former teacher and local patron Miss Sharon has run many afterschool programs that have kept kids super excited about math.
Children will play math games such as Close to 100, Roll & Cover, and Fraction Golf. These fun and engaging math games will have your child practicing math facts, using critical thinking skills, and solving mental math. Copies of the games will be sent home. All you will need is dice and playing pieces.
Miss Sharon + her math games + 10 kids = a very fun and educational program!
Come play Backgammon and Rummikub at the library! New players are always welcome.

Do you crave high-stakes adventure and heart-pounding suspense? Get ready for an electrifying conversation with New York Times bestselling author Gregg Hurwitz as he takes us inside the world of Orphan X and his life as a master of thriller fiction.
It all begins with Orphan X, where readers meet the legendary Nowhere Man—a figure whispered about in secret, known only to those in desperate need. When all hope is lost, he is the one who can make the impossible possible.
But he is no myth.
Evan Smoak was taken from a group home at twelve and trained as part of the clandestine Orphan Program, a top-secret initiative designed to create elite intelligence operatives—assassins with no ties, no past, and no identity. As Orphan X, Evan mastered every skill necessary to survive. But when he broke free from the Program, he reinvented himself as the Nowhere Man, using his formidable abilities to help those with nowhere else to turn.
Now, ten books into the series, fans can’t get enough of Evan’s relentless mission for justice—and Hurwitz can’t wait to dive into the world he’s built.
This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Cotuit Library.
Kick off your weekend with a morning of fun:
📖 Interactive stories to spark young imaginations
🎨 A creative craft activity
🔍 An engaging scavenger hunt
Parents and children are invited to stay afterward for open play – the perfect chance to relax, socialize, and enjoy our welcoming space.
Due to the popularity of our children’s programs, registration is now required. This helps us balance group sizes, parking, and ensures that Miss Julie has enough space for each child to play safely and comfortably. Registration opens one week prior to the program.
If a session fills up, you'll be added to the waitlist and contacted as space becomes available. Caregivers may register all children in their group under one name.
We can't wait to see you there on Fridays to make your weekends even more special! 🌟

While we wait for April showers to bring flowers in May, we can make our own paper flower basket in the meantime.
There will also be perler beads, and other small crafts to keep kids busy.
Join the cribbage group at Cotuit Library on Mondays for a friendly game from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.!
